No Snow Here... Just Ocean...

 So today we decided kinda at the last minute we were going to go to the Beach! It's weird to us and the Spilkers because the word is at home that it's snowing there.. This is not what our family's are used to doing in November!! This year and years to come will never be quite what they used to be for our familys.  We are learning that we are okay with this especially hearing about the weather back at home. We wont lie though we are missing the fall and the look of snow. It just does not feel like fall or winter to us here.  The water is still 80 degrees and the temp. is still always in the 70's-80's.  We dont go to the pool very often because the pool water here is really never heated so that water is def. colder then 80 degress. Ooh but this day was perfect it was not to hot and the water was perfect and we had the biggest waves hit today then we have since we have been here. Not even any of the distant Hurricanes brought this big of waves like we had today! When we were setting up our stuff these 2 guys were just getting our from scuba diving and had just caught 6 Lobster.. We ran over and talked with them and showed us the lobster they were so big and cool looking the kids thought that was just the coolest thing.  We dug two big holes and a tunnel under conecting to the other.. It was so fun and the kids had a blast.. Until the waves and tide came in and started filling our holes and even then the kids kept jumping into them! We had so much fun we cant wait to go back again.. We are loving the Winter here at the Beach cant complain!!
