My Grandpa Turner has been dealing with Alzheimer's for the last couple yrs & has gotten to that point where my grandma has no other choice but to put him into a Rest Home. He was put into one on August 3rd, 2011 which is one of the reasons we decided to come home so we could see him. We went during music time which kinda over whelmed Paetyn a little she did not know what to think at first. They had many diff kinds of instruments but it was so cute a little old lady brought Paetyn a maraca to shake along with everyone! She eventually got comforatble with everything going on in there. There are 7 diff levels of Alzheimer's & right now Grandpa is at a 6 we are not sure how long he will be around but every moment we get to spend with him is crusial.. I am so glad I got to see him before we get that call that he has passed :( Rather then not seeing him and the next time I do would of been when he did pass.. Poor Grandma she has been through so much the last 6 months dealing and coping with her "Hunny" driffting away from her. I cant even imagine how hard that would be. She has done an aweosme job but I know she is still haveing a hard time with the decision she had to make with no other option. I love you Grandma & Grandpa so much and now all I have now are memories good memories of Grandpa and all the fun times we had:) I cant believe all of this has happend so quick it just seems like yesterday I was having a conversation with Grandpa and now all he does is stair at me looking like he wants to say something but nothing comes out but a blank stair on his face. It breaks my heart to see him and the way he is now. I love you so much Grandma & Grandpa thank you so much for all the good times and amazing long lasting memories and storys we have to take and pass on to our kids. Just remember "Grandpa you can have Mindy & Grandma you can have me." lol Inside joke between Mindy, Grandpa and Grandma.. I love you so much love your Eesy :)
