Grandma & Grandpa's 1st night in Town

So Ryan's parents came into town to visit they missed the kids to much to be away from them any longer! We were so excited to finally recieve a visit from some one and was so good to have family finally here and in person rather then on Skype lol! When they got here Paetyn could not believe her eyes she sat in grandmas lap and would look up at her and then give her a big hug and repeated this for quite some time it was so cute and for grandma that right there made the trip worth it. Well we decided to check out this place we kept hearing about called Jaxon's. It's an ice cream parlor and a resturaunt. It's very popular and the ice cream is all home made. So between couples we decided to split a meal so we had room for desert. Ryan and I decided to get the 1lb Hot Dog and ooh my word when it came we were in over our heads lets just say we are glad we got it to share ha ha! It was actually really good I was so impressed! The portions are just unreal on all the food and ice cream.. The ice cream so amazing we are def. going to have to go back! As we were leaving there was a little monkey in the parking lot with his owner. If you gave him a quarter he would take it from your hand and put it in his pocket. If you gave him a dollar he would take it from you and put it in his pocket and then give you a hand shake. Paetyn went to give him the quarter and she got scared and threw it of course right after the lady said not to throw it ha ha. I gave him a dollar and he put it in his pocket and shook my hand it was so cute his hands are so soft , long and skinny little things. He saw the little silver things on my pants and thought they were coins so he tried to pull them off it was so funny.. We had lots of fun what a great place to start off such a great weekend with the grandparents:)
