Ashton's 2Wk App

Ashton had his 2wk app on Thurs April 14th & yes I know this is very past due but I stay very busy these days so I am getting to it now! Well can I just say it is much harder to get 2 kids ready and out the door then it is 1 kid!! There is so much more to remember to bring for 2 which made us late to our app.. We got there and luckily our Dr was called over to the hospital so we were technicaly not late lol she was! Luckily our Dr's is so well staffed that they called us in and got us started on weighing Ashton and doing his PKU test while we waited for our Dr! He did not like getting weighed the poor guy so this is the best and only pic I got for this whole app! This app was during Paetyn's nap time so we and the whole Dr staff was trying to keep Paetyn entertained so we could make it out alive lol!! So Ashton just after 2wks weighed in at 6lbs 4oz which is awesome seeing that when we left the hospital he was 5lbs 6oz. He also has grown and is already 20 inches long and was 18 1/2 when we left the hospital.. He is growing and gaining weight which was so awesome to hear! He hated the PKU test and cried so hard.. It was so hard to watch the poor little guy! Daddy had to take Paetyn out of the room because Paetyn gets upset hearing you cry:( The Dr showed up and we talked to her for a while and she checked all your little body parts to make sure all was well which turned out perfect.. You are perfectly healthy so far!! Now for the Circumcision which I was and wasn't looking forward to! I only say looking forward to because I was interested in the whole process.. So I offered of course to go in and help out and comfort you! It was so hard seeing you strapped down on a table but I knew would be worth it in the end! I gave you little amounts of sugar water and held your binky in while they went through the whole process and lets just say you did awesome you only cried when they gave you the shot other then that you just hung out. It hurt me more to watch you then I am sure it did you to have it done atleast thats what it looked like! After all said & done we took ya home and you slept for hours.. You poor thing went through allot at the Dr's today so I dont blame you for wanting to sleep it off:( I held you and kissed you forever it made me feel so bad!! I love you Ashton and am so glad that's all over!!
